About Private Chef Gabi

I achieved my Cordon Blue,Grande Diploma qualification at the Silwood School of Cookery, where during my final year I worked under world renowned Chef Frank Dangereux.

Thereafter the basis of my food inspiration came from my time spent at Babington House in the beautiful countryside village of Somerset, England. I worked there with Chef Ronnie Bonnetti who helped me fully develop my passion for cooking with simple, seasonal and local produce.

The last couple of years I have had the pleasure of working as a private chef both locally and internationally in Game Lodges and Private Homes, for both local and foreign clients.

I have also done the food preparation for many recipe books, like the South African Masterchef Cookbook and Occasions to name a few and have had the opportunity to work on set for TV cooking programmes.

Cape Town Private Chef is the realization of all my dreams I am now totally absorbed in the world of private cheffing and love the people I meet, not to mention the challenge of enthralling every client with the creation of delicious food.
